Finding Your Blueprint

There is so much conflicting information and advice available that it can be very confusing. Some estimates for 2018 indicate that 50 GB are uploaded every second and over 90% of that data is opinion-based content, social media posts, and video.

How do you find YOUR blueprint for business success with so much information available?

Brian Tracy has been a very influential person in my career both as a sales professional and an entrepreneur. Brian discovered very early in his career a simple but profound truth:

This truth highlights where you should look for advice and how you should go about finding your blueprint.

First, it starts with an analysis of what the most successful people (who are where you want to be) are consistently doing to be successful.

Be skeptical of so-called experts who have no actual experience. My favorite is the 18-year old kids who have figured out how to run Facebook ads but present themselves as business experts, gurus, and thought-leaders. No, I’m sorry you are 18-years old and no one has ever heard of you before your Facebook ad, so I am not going to buy your $7000 coaching program in business management.

The second step is to inject your own unique perspective into the process.

Many people try to duplicate exactly what other successful people are doing. That rarely works because the market already has a Tony Robbins, Gary V, Oprah, Mike Holmes, Mark Zuckerberg, and Elon Musk.

The market doesn’t need more of those people, what the market needs is a unique YOU! Take the principles you learn from studying the best and do something unique with those principles so eventually, you can add your name to the list of successful people who do what you do.
