Interesting Interview with a Great Entrepreneur
[1:31] Gregg Clunis is a creator from NYC focused on helping people experience the world differently. He’s the host of the top-ranked self-help podcast, Tiny Leaps, Big Changes and the author of a book with the same name.
[2:24] Find Your Blueprint – Figure out what you want, audit where you are in relation to that thing, and take small steps every single day to make progress toward it.
[4:41] Remove Your Barriers – The first barrier Gregg had to overcome was his own ego, he has been trying to build his brand for 11 years, he felt frustrated at year 7 or 8 because people who started after him were now ahead of him. The second barrier Gregg had to overcome was the sudden passing of his father.
[9:06] Fully Express Your Greatness – Gregg was able to publish his first book with a traditional publisher and he took his family on a weeklong vacation in Jamaica.
[15:26] Teaching Moment – Gregg teaches how to change our day-to-day behavior to have the life we want.
How to Make More Money
[26:10] Some people are plagued with excessive optimism. Belief in yourself is necessary but excessive optimism clouds people’s judgment and they think that things are easier then they are or that they are going to make more money then is reasonable for what they are doing. People cannot change this without help so get help from someone who can help you see what is really going on.
[28:34] You get what you are willing to put up with. If you want the behavior to change in others you must raise the standard for yourself first. Then you can communicate with your family members about changing their behavior.
